Be A Masked SuperHero! by Porscha and Charles Davis tackles the topic of life during the pandemic and teaches children the importance of wearing masks to keep themselves, their family, friends, and the community safe. The parents of the three little girls do not go to work anymore; their only outing is to the store. They have told the girls that many people are sick so even if they go out, they have to come home fast. The girls feel every day is like Halloween now wearing the mask all the time and they do not wait for their mommy to tell them. They know the virus is not safe and they also know they have to be careful and wash their hands whenever they are coming or going. The children sing nursery rhymes while washing their hands, and their long walks are now termed adventures. They talk to their friends and family on their phones and none of them feels they are alone.

Be A Masked SuperHero! by Porscha and Charles Davis is adorable and will charm young readers with the advice of wearing their hero mask and washing their hands. Skylar Keller's delightful illustrations make the concept and the story clear to readers and help them understand the importance of the superhero stance. It is a good storybook for parents and tutors to read aloud to children because it helps them understand the pandemic in an entertaining way, and why it is important to wear a mask and wash hands frequently. This book is a perfect gift for any child during these times.
