Female Butler, Emma Jamison, was minding her own business ,running the household, when the Vice President of the United States died of a heart attack in one of the upstairs bedrooms. The Secret Service insisted she leave the house. A photographer snapped her picture. She was now thought to be the notorious prostitute that killed the V. P. Her reputation was ruined. Seeking to escape the scandal, she moved to L.A .and took a job as the head of the cleaning staff for the nursing home where her grandmother was a resident. The D.A.’s grandfather is also a resident in the home. The two adorable senior citizens love each and elope. Emma and Max were drawn together, but will his career keep them apart? Between The Sheets is written with just the right amount of humor. Robin Wells puts the spotlight on several timely issues-- relationships of the elderly, Alzheimer’s, prostitution, and dealing with scandals. This book is a classic love story. Grams and Harold’s love story was my favorite part of the book. Do not begin reading Between The Sheets until you have time to finish it; you will not be able to put it down.

I requested this book from the publisher on the Kindle months ago even though I had read it in paperback before I got my Kindle...it was that good. My hope was that the author would publish future books on here and I see she has. This was so laugh out loud funny that I had to post a review via my Kindle when I saw it was finally available. Good girl gets mistaken for a Monica Lewinski but worse. Highly highly recommend and at this price I plan to buy another copy rather than search for my old one. A keeper. And an author to watch if you like romantic comedy. Do yourself a favor and buy this book.

I was so excited to read a new Robin Wells book. I love her writing and Between the Sheets may just be her best. The heroine is very likeable and someone the reader cares about. The hero is dreamy and heroic and romantic, etc. etc. The cast of other characters are fun and add so much to the story. It's a great story with depth and emotion and humor throughout. Grams and Harold are wonderful and funny and wise. I don't know what more I can say. It was perfect. It met all my standards for an excellent romance. I am glad Wells is writing again. How soon can she get another on the shelves?

I have read most of Robin Wells books. I've liked most of them, but this book stands out for all the rest. The relationship between the two main characters builds so naturally and they are both likeable and real. I loved how they meet and the humor of the situation. I read this book in one night. Bravo, Robin Wells for a great story.

This is from one of my favorite authors and I have really been looking forward to picking up her latest. I agree with the review that said Robin Wells books are great chick-lit. One thing I like about her books is that she fills them with such interesting characters, not just the hero and heroine, but the supporting characters as well. She also uses humor to write about some pretty serious stuff that all of us can relate to. When Emma finds herself stuck in the national spotlight, you really feel for her and when the book is over, you kind of miss the characters and wish you could spend more time with them. For me that is the sign of a great read!

I was excited to get this book from my local library since reading all the great reviews here, but unfortunately my opinion differs -- a lot. I found the book to be SLOW paced and way too drawn out. Sure it had some funny parts, but not much else to make up for the tedium of 382 pages that should have been edited down to at the most 250. It really was not a bad book just predictable and average.

This book was very funny. Good story. Kept me wanting to read more.

This book was much, much better than I expected...I had to share it with others in my circle. Your heart just breaks for this gal...and you are glad when someone finally champions her.
