Bryla's Amazing Imagination: Bryla Visits the Moon by LaTasha Reynolds is a fun picture book for children. A young girl named Bryla wants to go to the moon, but knows it is impossible; or is it? Her mom tells her that she can go anywhere in the world, as long as she has an imagination. Bryla is confused and doesn't understand what imagination is, so Bryla's mom sits her down and explains it to her. After a brief explanation, Bryla closes her eyes and pictures going to the moon. When Bryla opens her eyes, her excitement explodes as she is now on the moon! Bryla is lucky enough to meet someone special and has lots of fun on her visit. Who do you think Bryla meets? Bryla's Amazing Imagination was so much fun to read. It teaches about imagination which I loved because it will enable children to explore their minds and let their creativity run free. I found the writing to be easy-flowing and simple enough for children to read, or follow along with. The characters are adorable and have been illustrated perfectly for the target audience. I loved the bond between Bryla and her mom. This book has endless amounts of adventure for children to discover and will keep them entertained for a long time; a bonus for parents. So gather your children, sit them down, and let the fun begin! Congrats on the amazing book, LaTasha Reynolds. Keep writing!
