Chasing Eveline is the story of sixteen-year-old Ivy Higgins, and how she has been coping with her mom abandoning their family two years prior. Ivy discovers that as time passes she can no longer remember things clearly—what did her mom wear the last time they went out together? In an effort to retain the connection she felt with her mom through music, Ivy works against the odds to reunite the novel’s eponymous '80s band. She enlists her best friend Matt, a fellow indie music enthusiast, and together they embark on a journey of love, loss, friendship, and hope.
