Terry McLeod-Huppenthal takes us into her and her husband Dave's life as a reflection upon the television characters Lieutenant Columbo on the hit series "Columbo" and Lucy from the all-famous "I Love Lucy" show. Columbo & Lucy: Living the Dream is a very well written and funny book of how Terry and Dave shared their love, laughter, and awesome adventures together. There were many side-splitting stories here, and in reading them I found myself laughing out loud. I truly enjoyed the light-hearted humor. This is a book that will allow you to relax and even laugh as you may find yourself being placed in similar circumstances. This is a book that presents itself as a comedy, yet contains life's lessons from which one can draw wisdom and insight. There are practical issues that keep surfacing that every family will be able to appreciate.
From the first day of their marriage until present day, there are stories that will keep you laughing such as: "Breaking and Entering," "Caught in the Act" or "Happy Days Extended." These stories are funny, witty, and enjoyable. I hope author McLeod-Huppenthal will continue to write additional books to share the amusing situations that have happened within her family. Why not take the journey with Terry and Dave and travel along beside them as they share their humorous stories and adventures? I'm sure this will be a fun and relaxing read for all readers.
