Countdown To Greatness is short in length, but is filled with funny thoughts, great truths, and insights. There is a great deal of wisdom shared, making it a worthwhile book for any reader. Author Michael Carter Griffin states: “Learning is the Perfect Combination of Science and Art.” He then gives a chart/illustration that shares this viewpoint, making some very valid points for the reader to consider. Continuous improvement is another point he makes, and how important it is for the reader to work on improving themselves and others around them constantly. There is another significant point, and that is to seize the moment and move forward in advancement. This book is full of great points of encouragement and advice that anyone would benefit from reading. Chapter 2: “GPS For Life” is a fantastic chapter filled with such truth and worth every cent of the book.
Michael Carter Griffin is funny and entertaining as he presents his material in a way that is both enlightening and entertaining. He presents his material with the chapters written backward from 10 to 1. Why did the author do this? Because no one else has and he wanted the book to be both different and fun. He desired that by the time the reader hits zero, they would have the much-needed confidence to have a blastoff for a fantastic future. Indeed, this would be an excellent book for high school seniors, college seniors, and anyone in general who desires to improve their lives and to be more productive.
