It all began when Perez, a drug lord, wanted to give up the business and stay clean. The first step was splitting from his associates, Sanchez and DeAngelo, using LaCrew and Associates law firm. The leading attorney of the Perez trial was Hannah McMillian, an amiable, stunning, and intelligent woman. Perez developed a soft spot for Hannah and entrusted Pierce his son's safety to her. However, he must stay in the shadows and never show himself to her. Unfortunately, it was love at first sight for Pierce, and nothing would stop him from claiming her. Fate had other plans, trapping all the players in a web of deceit. Do Pierce and Hannah stand the chance of a happy-ever-after, even though vipers surround them? Find out in Dangerous Desires by J. L. Baden.
Dangerous Desires by J. L. Baden is Colombiana meets Fifty Shades of Grey, with a touch of El Chapo's moves. The book was erotic, featuring lust, passion, love, loyalty, deception, betrayal, greed, and revenge. This novel would appeal to lovers of sizzle, detective, and cartel stories. I loved the complex but brilliant plot and the beautiful storyline. It was unpredictable, with twists and turns that held my attention. We can never reach the depths of a person’s mind because we have many layers. Chevez shocked me! Who would think that the enemy lived within, posing as the perfect friend? I fell in love with Hannah’s character because she was near perfect and had a beautiful heart. Trish was a friend indeed. Pierce was a captivating character, and Annalease was sweet. Thank you for a beautiful book.
