Darkview: Psychosis by RJ Bathgate and M.J. Hall is a horror story with a difference. It is a disturbing read about a man on a fast descent to hell, a man who must put himself back together to learn the truth. On one level, it is a psychotic horror story, yet, on another, it is the sad story of one man’s hellish and tenuous grip on reality and his own sanity. It is a thriller, a suspense mystery, and a horror story all rolled into one and, for those readers with a very active imagination, it will conjure up terrifying scenes. This is an edge-of-the-seat gripping story, one that holds on with long bony fingers until the bitter end. It moves fast and takes you on a journey to hell and back with excellent character development and a highly descriptive plot. This is one for readers who want to be plunged into a terrifying story with all the elements of a top-class thriller.
