Divine Poetry: 2013-14 Is Where It All began is a collection of poetry suitable for all ages. It was penned by author Saven “Con-A” Watts. The collection is a selection of poems that the author produced at a formative stage in their writing career as part of a wider assignment whilst at school. Since each of the poems was originally written, the author has continued to refine and develop their skill, and now with seven years as a poet behind them, they have revisited their early work to apply their updated skill set. The end result is a selection of poems with a core message from the author’s youth but written with the skill of an experienced writer.
Poet Saven “Con-A” Watts delivers a poignant and thought-provoking collection of poems. From the moment I started reading the poems, they resonated with and inspired me. One of my favorite things about this collection of poems is that I feel they have the potential to connect with people from different backgrounds and walks of life. Divine Poetry covers a broad spectrum of topics and explores a range of ideas. My personal favorites from this collection were ‘Old Soul Of A Lone Wolf’ and ‘The Evolution of a True Millennium Reveals Its Face’ which I felt particularly highlighted the author’s talent for imagery and emotive writing. I found the tone of the poems fresh and empowering, and I look forward to reading more of Watts’s work. I would not hesitate to recommend this book to fans of stimulating and captivating poetry, and those who are looking for a gateway into the genre.
