Adam Tumbler, a war veteran turned journalist, may not care about many things, such as pleasing people or what they think and say about him. But he sure does care about his daughter, the truth, and justice. Stuck investigating crooked cops in his hometown, Adam is frustrated with his slow progress. It does not help that he has to deal with the demons and scars from his time in service, and a bitter divorce. When he bumps into Ben, an aging, paranoid, war vet and informant, he is made privy to a dangerous and larger web of corruption involving the powerful Senator and Presidential hopeful, Ambrose Kaine. Hellbent on exposing Senator Kaine’s machine of corruption and stopping the rot eating away at his town and nation, Adam finds himself treading a perilous path that puts his life and those around him on the line. Find out how it all goes down in Ozzie Logozzo’s Don’t Do It.

Weaving an intriguing plot, Logozzo brings the scenes to life with evocative, cinematic depictions. It felt like I was watching a Hollywood thriller. The subtle tone of the storyline hooked me, keeping me turning page after page. The fine line maintained between reality and imagination gave the story a touch of psychological thriller. Logozzo gave me a glimpse into the life of a war veteran, highlighting the destructive effects of war on their lives. The overt depictions of the cast’s emotions and the juxtaposition of their complex traits allowed me to connect with them. In a world held together by a frail fabric of justice and integrity, whose threads threaten to break under the crushing weight of deceit, power, money, and immorality, does Adam stand a chance at his quest for truth? If you are looking for a gripping noir crime and political thriller, Ozzie Logozzo’s Don’t Do It is a must-read!
