Elmer the Elf Owl (Nature/Nurture Series) by Pam Robbins is a heart-warming picture book for young children. One day, Elmer the owl and his mate Ellie are out looking for the perfect place to call home. Whilst looking around, Elmer comes across a woodpecker who is pecking holes all over the place to find food. He pecks and pecks many holes in many different areas, with Elmer watching close by, pondering whether any would make a good home. Will Elmer finally find the perfect place for himself and Ellie? Find out in Elmer the Elf Owl.
Elmer the Elf Owl was a joy to read. Children are going to love this wonderfully-written book. Pam Robbins has done a great job of creating an entertaining storyline that children will immediately be interested in reading. From the very first page, my attention was captured and I was hooked. Not only does this book have a nice story, but it also has professional and colorful illustrations by Eduardo Paj. The writing itself reads smoothly and children can follow along easily. This book would make the perfect bedtime story or one to read on a rainy day. Either way, it is sure to be enjoyed. I hope to see more of Pam's creations soon and I want to wish both her and Eduardo all the best. They make a great team and, with their talents combined, they have the potential to create even more great books like this one. Good luck and keep writing!
