In Fleet Landing by Wendy Gee, Nathan Sharpe was unjustly sentenced for the central train station fire that resulted in the deaths of thirty-nine individuals. Rob Noble established the Innocence Network to assist clients of color who were financially disadvantaged, and he asked for TV journalist Stacey's help to prove Nathan's innocence. In exchange, Stacey would aid an innocent man in obtaining justice while covering a groundbreaking story. Meanwhile, Charleston's fire chief contacted Special Agent Coop Bellamy to investigate a string of fires in Fleet Landing. Coop also views this as a chance to mend his relationship with his eleven-year-old daughter. A mysterious figure known as Falcon has been causing chaos in Fleet Landing and has set his sights on Stacey as she investigates. Stacey and Coop find themselves racing against time to capture Falcon before additional lives are lost.

The storyline in Fleet Landing by Wendy Gee was fascinating and complex. The story was fast-paced and filled with action that started right away and did not let up. I found it difficult to set the book aside, and I raced through the pages as fast as I could. The tension kept me completely engaged. Various storylines were skillfully intertwined without overshadowing one another. The writing style was engaging and made me feel involved in Stacey and Coop's investigation. The characters felt realistic and relatable. They were well-crafted, and Stacey and Coop formed an outstanding duo in their pursuit of the truth and justice. This book has all the elements necessary for a thrilling and captivating tale. It was well-executed, and I enjoyed reading it.
