This is Karen Kingbury's Forever Faithful Series of three books all in one volume. I read this series years ago when it first came out, and when I saw this book, I had to read it again to write a review. This book is awesome, full of issues and situations that we all face at one time other, but the exciting and amazing thing is that when we let God in on our difficult and heartbreaking lives, He will take us through them, even carrying us through when we can't go on our own.

In Book One, Waiting for Morning, Hannah's family was on the way home from an outing they had taken without her, when her husband and oldest daughter were killed in an accident with a drunk driver. So very heartbreaking, Hannah, eagerly awaiting the return of her family, now finds herself making funeral arrangements for two of her family members. And to make it worse, the drunk driver causing the accident was hardly injured at all. This story, mixed with so many emotions, was sad and very difficult to read because of the heart-wrenching issues involved. But it's something that can happen to anyone, and I highly recommend it.

The second book, A Moment of Weakness, is another fictional book about real issues that so many people face today. Jade and her childhood friend, Tanner, were so very different. Jade came from anything but a wealthy family; her mom leaves them, and she is forced to take care of her alcoholic dad. Tanner's family is wealthy, and his lifestyle is the opposite from Jade's. When they meet up again as adults, Tanner is now a Christian, which his mother is not happy about, and he helps Jade find the Lord, too. Jade and Tanner hit it off as adults and want to live the rest of their lives together. But things happen, the two make bad choices, and their lives are changed forever. Another Kingsbury book well worth reading with Biblical answers that helped Jade and Tanner, it can help anyone else dealing with these difficult issues in their lives.

The final book in the series, Halfway to Forever, is a much more pleasing book to read, a conclusion to the first two books that will show the reader that, with God, all things are possible. Full of emotions, love and forgiveness, we see the grace of God in a powerful way in the lives of Tanner and Jade, and Hannah and Matt. (You will just have to read the book to see how Matt fits into the picture.)

Grab a copy of this wonderful book and read it, pass it to friends and let them in on the wonderful words penned by the author.
