Gabby's Space Adventure by Angel Krishna is an inspiring, well written children's book about a young hippo named Gabby. Gabby has always wanted to go to space and have adventures. People always question her dream, though. One day a group of children wonder why she'd want to go to space, and if she could even go. Gabby explains that of course she could go, she just had to use her imagination, and has to be determined enough to not let anything get in her way. The group of children begin to see her point. Gabby asks them what they imagine themselves doing. What do you imagine yourself doing?

I really enjoyed reading Gabby's Space Adventure by Angel Krishna. The book is very inspiring, because it teaches that you can do anything if you put your mind to it and try hard enough. The book is full of likeable characters, because Gabby won't let anybody get in the way of her dream. The book is very well written and descriptive. I liked how the story is told from Gabby's perspective. The pictures by Nancy Batra are very well drawn and clearly depict each scene and each character. The pictures are also very colourful. Many people will be able to relate to Gabby, and this book in general, because many people have had a dream that they wanted to come true. The book is well developed and well thought out. I would definitely recommend this book to all young readers.
