What cryptid creature lies in the Bennett Fantasy Resort in the Arctic? Lizzy Gayle explores this in Glacial Heat (Fantasy Resorts Book 3). Rosi Sanchez wins a trip of a lifetime to the Glacial Palace Resort. She has won a private excursion in the frozen tundra. She has a plan to search for mythical creatures to prove to the world that monsters exist. She did not have it in her plans to fall in love. She meets Austin Cooper, the extreme sports superstar, and the face of the resort. Austin has a goal to create brand-new space games. He has vowed to keep love away from him. Neither Rosi nor Austin expected romance. When the creature turns out to be real, all secrets are revealed.
I was immediately drawn in by the beautifully seductive cover of Glacial Heat (Fantasy Resorts Book 3). Gayle takes us on an Arctic Adventure that’s exciting and spicy. The descriptions of the landscape of the resort are so vivid it was like I was there. Riding on the tension train growing between Austin and Rosi had me breathless. It was fun watching both get derailed from their original plans and melt into each other throughout the chaos. I was so scared for them due to all the events that kept unfolding. The action is non-stop. The description of the cryptid and its nest are things made of nightmares. I loved getting the history behind this cryptid and learning about the Inuit people and some of their traditions.
