Little Tim and the Magic Apples by Hillie Jeffery is a picture book for young children. Does your child lack confidence? Or just needs a little nudge in the right direction? Then this book will be perfect for helping them achieve that. Little Tim just wants to play with his friends, but he feels he is too small to join in. Tim walks away and stumbles across a tree, but not just any kind of tree; this tree has special powers! With one bite of an apple, Tim feels as big as can be but ends up scaring his friends away. So Tim visits the magical tree again and again but each time his wish isn't as he'd hoped. After his final bite, little Tim shares his apples and waits for the magic to happen once again. But after waiting and waiting, nothing happens. In the end, Tim realizes something even better than magical apples. Join little Tim in his journey to finding inner power.
Little Tim and the Magic Apples is a beautiful and empowering book that young children will love and learn from. Children will at some point in their life feel insecure or unable to do things they want to do. However, with books like Little Tim and the Magic Apples, they will be filled with confidence and self-acceptance as they read the carefully-written words of the talented Hillie Jeffery. The illustrations by Nathalie Kranch are adorable and children will love them! I enjoyed every page of this wonderful book and I urge anyone with children to purchase a copy.
