Nick is determined to make his new PI firm work, even if he has to do a lot of snooping for wives worried their husbands are cheating. He knows eventually he’ll hit it big and get a good case. What he doesn’t know is that he’ll end up neck deep in that case and so tied up in knots about who’s guilty and who’s innocent that he won’t even be able to find his way up. Nick Sinclair, PI by J.W. Grodt is most definitely the case of a lifetime and the tale to beat all because Nick’s latest cheating scandal may not end with the cheating spouse.

For Nick, the world is about to get a little more intense. Being a private eye isn’t exactly what he’s always thought it would be, but it’s definitely interesting to learn. The relationship that he develops seems just like the first love that we all remember, and yet it’s stronger than that. The truth about who killed the Rothsteins is more difficult to figure out than it would appear at first glance. It’s also much more important to Nick than he ever would have thought. After all, the woman he loves just might be the killer. Nick Sinclair is more than just a man on a mission to make his business a success. He’s also a man on a mission to prove that the woman he loves is innocent of a crime that makes her look more and more guilty all the time. This was an excellent book. I very much enjoyed it and thought it was very well written.
