Paradise Breached by Sam Withrow and Amelia Pinkis is the third book in The Forbidden Tears Series. It tells the story of Brie, Cameron, Mike, Sherry, and their Elysian friends as they embark on a dangerous journey to find Eden. There is a big fight in the magical world, and the group is trying to escape from a demon named Baal. They get lost in time and end up in 1969, where they have both exciting and tragic experiences. With guidance from Brie's vision and Azrael's magnifying glass, the group travels through different places, including San Francisco, deserts full of monsters, and cursed cities where danger awaits at every corner. They go to a cursed city, Ubar, to find a way to the magical garden in the hope of getting answers and finding help. Unfortunately, it happens that Baal had followed them all this time and is now inside one of their friends, Tavi. They must face their fears and battle against Baal and another ancient demon, Leviathan, who poses a threat to them.

This was really an exciting and fun read. The actions, supernatural beings, revelations, and storyline really caught me off guard; the authors are very creative and thoughtful. What stood out to me most was the relationships between the characters. Their bond and the way they communicate, face challenges, have fun, and share each other's pain are really admirable. This book excelled in many areas; the character development was top-notch, the pacing was fast enough to keep me engaged, and the scenes and secondary elements were explained in detail. Brie and Cameron's relationship added warmth to the book as much as their friendship with angel characters. Paradise Breached by Sam Withrow and Amelia Pinkis is not only about magical battles and quests, but it also covers themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and love—not just romantic love, but the ones that grow in friendships and shared struggles. I recommend it to readers who enjoy fantasy novels with action, humor, myths, and historical settings.

Paradise Breached: The Forbidden Tears Series by Sam Withrow and Amelia Pinkis tells the story of a group of both human and angelic friends—including Brie, Cameron, Sherry, Mike, Ephraim, and Tavi. They embark on a mission given to them by King Enoch to find an archangel called Jophial and to protect Brie. During their mission, they confront a demon of gluttony called Baal, who complicates their mission. In a desperate attempt to escape from Baal, the group is thrown back in time to 1969. While in the past, they use clues from an old TV commercial to travel to San Francisco, where they get money and secretly arrange a trip to Ubar, an ancient city in the Jordanian desert. They battle intense heat, losses, dangerous monsters, and face the threat from a dangerous demon, Leviathan.

I loved how each of the characters has a unique personality that makes their journey even more interesting. The book is fast-paced and full of suspense. The authors gave detailed descriptions of the scenes, actions, emotions, magic, and other secondary elements and made me feel as if I were watching a movie. Their journey is both fun and dangerous, as they have to face Baal again, who possesses Tavi. My favorite part was when the group entered the cursed city and was forced to face their biggest fears and problems. I enjoyed this book and would love to read the next in the series. I recommend Paradise Breached by Sam Withrow and Amelia Pinkis to readers who love action-packed fantasy adventures about angels, demons, and time travel with mystery and spiritual themes.

Having narrowly escaped the clutches of Baal, one of Lucifer's generals who make up The Seven Fallen Angels, Brie Weldon, her guardian Cameron, and their odd group of human and Elysian friends find themselves on the run. Their attempts to return to Earth do not go exactly as planned, and they must now navigate their way to the Garden of Eden if they are to discover a means to beat back Lucifer and his demonic minions' plans to subjugate humanity under a banner of darkness for all eternity. Only time will tell if Brie and Cameron will succeed with their quest in Paradise Breached by Sam Withrow and Amelia Pinkis.

The latest installment of Sam Withrow and Amelia Pinkis’s The Forbidden Tears series cements the romantic subplot of the adventure while further exploring the subtle elements of the fantasy. Cameron's relationship struggles, along with his colleagues' subtle reminders of his supernatural origins, create a realistic portrait of a flawed individual trying to uphold a public image that conflicts with his true self. Fantasy and mystery genre fans will appreciate how the authors seamlessly blend elements of pop culture and religion. What makes Paradise Breached stand out is the way Withrow and Pinkis use a combination of dialogue and flashbacks to develop the characters’ origin stories, highlighting their importance in the larger series. The result is an engaging novel that both newcomers to the series and dedicated fans can easily follow. I enjoyed reading Paradise Breached and look forward to the next instalment in this fascinating series.

Paradise Breached by Sam Withrow and Amelia Pinkis is book three in the supernatural fantasy series, The Forbidden Tears. In book one, Brianna Weldon is rescued from a supernatural attack by her guardian Cameron, who gives her a pendant and a warning. Years later, as dark forces reemerge, Cameron returns, and together they face demonic threats and forbidden attraction. In the second installment, when Brianna inherits an ancient artifact, she discovers its hidden power and joins Cameron, prince of Elysium, on a quest to uncover the pendant’s secrets, confront opposing forces, and decide the fate of both Elysium and Earth. Now, after surviving a deadly clash with a Fallen Angel, Brianna and her companions are thrown into 1969, pursued for a powerful pendant linked to Eden, while dealing with hidden dangers, betrayals, and a future that may be lost. “'I am... The Angel of Dreams. And you, Brianna Weldon, are far from dreaming.'”

At this point, we know Brianna and Cameron well, but their progression as characters keeps getting better and better. We see deep emotion through small, carefully described gestures, and their reactions are often non-verbal but powerfully expressive. The exchange of hands between the pair during the verifier’s poem beautifully reinforces trust and intimacy. The authors' skill in this excels when danger is at its highest. The wraiths are terrifying, and their appearance in settings that are already inherently dangerous is brilliant. Brianna’s instinctive terror, Sherry’s sarcastic calm, Ephriam’s measured interventions are all fleshed out in moments of crisis. The world-building is epic. The mythic and immersive settings extend far in a gorgeous mix of celestial and earthly. The standout is the desert battlefield, the supernatural combat, and the miraculous Tree of Life, all part of this spectacular universe. Overall, Paradise Breached by Sam Withrow and Amelia Pinkis is incredible.
