As a poet, you incorporate the artistic vision of life, love, passion, and your connection to the earth as you see it. Poets share their findings in connection to the world and share their views with the reader. In Passion by Tracey Lapham White and Jason White, you will experience a poetry collection from two authors in their views of passion, needs and of being. Poems like Slowly, Beyond and The Dance evoke the rawness of pain, emotions and want. Each poem will take you on a natural high as you read the various emotions expressed throughout the pages. Let the poems speak to you as they envelop your mind and take you into a beautiful trance of sadness, anger, happiness and awe. Let the collection of poems in this book be your voice and speak for you. Add this book to your library.
Each of these poems was expressive and insightful and I loved them. I enjoyed reading this book because of the intensity, love, vulnerability and expressive nature of each poem. Despite there being two authors, there is a great collection of poems here. One of my favorite poems is Powerless. Based upon subjective interpretation, this poem can be interpreted in so many ways from pain to pleasure. Feel these words from the poem Powerless: “......I’m powerless. I wished it would never end. But goodbyes are beautiful too, aren’t they?” say the authors. How do these words impact you? For me it was bittersweet. Enjoy!
