In Same Page by G.L. Tomas, fiction cannot get any more realistic than this. When Naima takes a job at Synopsis (a book store) she was expecting a good salary to keep her afloat and save her from drowning in debt and poverty. She had no idea that she would meet Timothy, the man who owns the shop, a.k.a her boss. He is darn cute, but there is a little problem; he is taken. His girlfriend lives far away, but when you put two good looking people in a same room (or shop) you get some fantastic sparks that consume.
The story feels real and the characters are also real. Let’s be honest here, how many times in your life have you done something that you knew you shouldn’t but you still did it anyway? Yeah, too many times to count. The story is based on this concept. The novel was paced well. It was not too fast or too slow. The characters were well developed and conflicted at the right moment. I really loved the fact that these two main characters were not picture perfect. They were real people who made mistakes and even did things they knew were wrong. All in all, this is a great book. Everyone who loves romance should at least give this novel a try. Wow!
