Sell, Sell, Sell! by David F. D'Orazi blends a sales guide with a memoir. D'Orazi draws on nearly five decades of success, starting as a child and building a career that put him in the top 2 percent of his company's salesforce. The book opens with the case for a career in sales, then moves through the fifteen qualities of a strong salesperson, a five-step closing method, and goal setting. From there, D'Orazi walks through his own path decade by decade, from his first sale in the 1950s through his rise in corporate sales in the 1980s and into the 2000s. He closes with lessons learned and thoughts on finding the balance between work and life.

The author backs nearly every lesson with a story from his own career, not just theory. He shows how he tripled an account by taking a client to lunch instead of pitching, and how patience turned eight rejected sales calls into a lasting client relationship. These are the reasons why the book has a strong sense of credibility, making the advice easy to implement in practice. The warm and direct tone is consistent throughout, like a mentor sharing his hard-earned lessons over coffee. A few parts also spend more time on the rewards of a sales career, like vacations and season tickets, than on new techniques. The mix of practical strategy and lived experience makes Sell, Sell, Sell! by David D'Orazi a solid read for anyone starting in sales or looking for motivation from someone who has put in the decades of work.
