That Night with You by Alexandrea Weis is about how a one night stand can turn into the beginning of a perfect life with your Mr. Right. Madison Barnett is a woman who let a one night stand matter too much and now she is ruined for other men, forever. She didn’t give her real name to that devilish stranger. She lost her virginity to him, and boy was she glad about that. She left just as soon as he fell asleep and now five years later she regrets her decision.
Now, she has a new job at Parr and Associates as an architect, and guess who’s her boss? Yup, it’s Mr. Sexy himself: Hayden. He is controlling, arrogant, sexy as sin, and she is not really sure if he remembers her. But he does remember her and he really wants her very much. However, he does not want to give his heart because that would make him vulnerable and after a divorce, he is not ready for that. Soon, the two of them start an affair which is purely sexual. Nevertheless, they cannot keep their emotions out of it and soon they fall for each other. Will they take the leap of faith and trust their feelings for each other? Or will they continue with the affair and ignore the opportunity for something deeper?
That Night with You by Alexandrea Weis was really endearing and extremely funny in some places. Hayden and Madison are just too proud to accept their feelings at first, but it is actually Hayden, who takes the leap of faith and tries to find Madison or “Mary” as he knows her. That was actually surprising because it is the woman who chases the man these days, not the other way around. It was pleasant and very enjoyable. Five stars!
