Does your child love all things related to magic? Then The Empty Box (Invisible Magic Wand Book 1) by Lois Wickstrom will be perfect for their next read. The story is based on a young boy named Caspian who awakes on his un-birthday. Every year his Grandpa leaves him a special box with a magical present inside. This time when Caspian opens the box, there's nothing inside, leaving Caspian feeling confused and a little sad. Luckily, Caspian's sadness is soon resolved as everything is revealed at breakfast when his Grandpa explains the gift. Are you curious to find out what Caspian's gift could be?
Lois Wickstrom will once again entertain young readers with her amusing and imaginative stories with The Empty Box. I have had the pleasure to read other books by Lois and I am impressed by her writing skills. She can pull the reader in from the beginning of the story, and keep their attention throughout. The writing itself is flawless, and the storyline is creative and captivating. The illustrations by Nicolas Milano will enhance your reading experience. I do not doubt that children will be entertained by reading this incredible book. I know they will love Caspian and his Grandpa and will want to follow him on his journey of receiving magical gifts. Keep up the good work, Lois, I'll be keeping an eye out for your next book.
