Does your child have problems getting a haircut? Do you have to drag them, kicking and screaming, into the barbershop? Have no fear. The Hair Fairy by writer and mother Mamma Macs is the perfect solution to your problem. The story follows The Hair Fairy, after a child has gotten their haircut. The Hair Fairy is a partner with Mother Nature, who turns hair into magic to sprinkle throughout town. This book is brilliantly and carefully illustrated, full of drawings your child will love. To top it off, the author includes three certificates for when your child gets a haircut. No longer will they be afraid to enter the barbershop, but they will be begging you to take them more often!

The Hair Fairy by author Mamma Macs is the perfect story for a child that fears their hair being snipped by the barber. The best children's books provide a moral or lesson at the end of the story, and Mamma Macs does not fail in this area. She paints the Hair Fairy to be a benevolent, giving fairy that wants to turn hair into a beautiful work of magic. Although the fairy is small and cannot be seen, she is still hard working. I loved how the entire book was written in rhymes, as well as provided incredible certificates at the end of the work. Macs took something as awful as a haircut and turned it into something beautiful and worth reading. So whether you're an adult or a child, you will love The Hair Fairy!
