The Queen Of Redmir: Lastenberg Book 3 is an epic fantasy novel by Rafael Lopez. Lastenberg is an immortal archer summoned every few hundred years to protect humans from evil. In this installment, Lastenberg is summoned to solve the mysterious case of Queen Dimelda. A young lady is accused of the murder and impersonation of Queen Dimelda. The people in the court are convinced she is a fake and has killed the real queen, while other people claim she is the real queen. Lastenberg senses a dark entity in the area confusing the people and decides to investigate. Join Lastenberg as he uncovers the truth and saves the kingdom from another dark force.
Rafael Lopez is an amazingly creative writer. I loved reading the previous book in this series, Ere The Dark Dirt, because of its unique concept and epic vibe. Lopez does not disappoint because he maintains the same feel in The Queen Of Redmir. Lastenberg is back and uses his intelligence to solve a misunderstanding caused by dark forces trying to take over the Kingdom. I loved how it introduced new characters like Queen Dimelda, a young and brave woman ready to risk her life for her people and throne. The mystery of an unknown villain lurking in the kingdom brought intrigue and suspense to the story. I was also surprised by the identity of the villain. If you want a fantasy novel with great characters and a well-written plot twist, this one is for you.
