The first half of the book follows Ellarisa and the rest of the crew of the Peacekeeper spacecraft on their expedition to Earth 2, and the second half covers their storylines in Little America. All in all, it's a must-read for science fiction fans.

The technology is solid, with elements like nanotech suits, communicators emitting high-frequency sounds, and advanced containment devices all realistically integrated. There's plenty of excitement, from alien threats, dimensional lockdowns, and dangerous retreat through a wormhole, all leading to a satisfying conclusion. Overall, The Rescue is a tightly written and imaginative read. Very highly recommended.

I got really into the subtle questions about exploration, power, and the costs of survival, and the story weaves these in smoothly without ever losing momentum. Wilson’s vision of the future is richly imagined but grounded in ethical dilemmas that feel all too real. Overall, The Rescue is a gripping, cinematic sci-fi adventure that highlights the courage of those who dare to chart the stars and the humanity they carry with them, and I'd certainly recommend it.
