This is the first book in a Bible Study/Commentary Series. The Roman Roadmap is a verse–by-verse Bible Study of the book of Romans.

This study begins with an excellent chart that describes, how to find the way from sin to service along a well mapped road better know as ----THE ROMAN ROADMAP.

The general outline consists of 5 separate studies beginning with:
Part One - Sin: chapters 1:1 through 3:20.
Part Two – Salvation: chapters 3:21 through 5:21.
Part Three – Sanctification: chapters 6:1 through chapter 8:39
Part Four - Sovereignty: Chapters 9 through 11.
Part Five – Service: chapters 12 through 16.

This would make an excellent home Bible Study or small group study. The study will take approximately 15 weeks. I encourage you not to rush through this book. Place this side by side with your bible, grab a pen and pad and as you read the verses take time to meditate and listen to what God is saying through each verse.

This is very well written in a very subtle way that is very easy for even the new Christian to understand. Karl Maydell takes the reader on a journey following the Roman Road. As by the words of Christ; “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you, and, lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world, Amen.” (Matthew 28:19, 20).

I highly recommend this book to all. Romans is a great book to study. The author also has his second book Total Triumph out which continues this series. I would like to see a whole set of study books written by this author. They would make a great addition to every Christian’s Library.
