The Tales of Neroman: The Silver Savior by Tom Burton is an epic fantasy with a unique appeal for fans who enjoy tales filled with strong characters, mythical creatures, and magic. Aaron Silver is just a young farmer, but an unspeakable evil looms over his world. When he starts having disturbing visions of chaos and doom, he sets out to find answers. He joins others on the quest to save Neroman from evil but, naive and unskilled, does he have what it takes for a mission of such proportions?
The narrative starts with a dramatic moment. In Dock Town in the North of Neroman, the peace of the city is disturbed by the high-pitched screams of someone in pain. The author teases readers, arousing their curiosity, goading them steadily on to turn the pages. There is intense action, and it starts from the very first page, with the movement of fighters and the screams of childbirth. Each chapter is a powerful prelude to the next, each chapter ending with an action, a riddle, or something that builds the suspense and forces the reader to turn the page.
I loved the characters, from the humblest of them to the king. Each fits perfectly into their role. I loved Aaron and enjoyed the mystery that developed around him. A simple man with an impossible mission. The language is strong, filled with beautiful descriptions and exciting dialogues. Tom Burton's novel is filled with imagination and interesting characters. The Tales of Neroman: The Silver Savior is a powerful story with the kind of conflict that keeps readers interested.
