Trapped by Impulsion is a crime drama by Charles Feggans. It's been three years since Jack Wilson was let go from his job with the state department. Struggling to pay the bills, Jack joins a correctional facility where he finds work as a baker. With his job in prison, Jack is soon approached by an inmate named Bill, who convinces Jack to smuggle marijuana into the facility for a decent sum of money. Before long, Jack becomes adept at dealing drugs, putting him on the authorities' radar. He ends up getting caught, and his entire life turns upside down. After serving a short sentence, Jack struggles to find work to support his family. Will he be able to shed the baggage of his past and return to his normal family life?
Societal ills like drugs hamper not only those who are addicted but also others who get caught using them to make money in the short term, perfectly demonstrated in Trapped by Impulsion. Author Charles Feggans tells a believable story about a man who puts himself at risk of losing everyone and everything he loves to make a quick buck dealing drugs. Unfortunately, this kind of thing happens too often in real life. Jack is a man in turmoil, and his inner conflict and struggles make you root for him. All in all, a riveting tale with an important message. Highly recommended.
