Author Biography

"I've always loved mystery and magic, the strange and the esoteric. The Arthurian stories have always appealed, particularly because of how they blend the real world with the mystical. My books revisit some of the characters, but set in the world of the Other, where Arthur was laid to rest on Avalon. I've had great fun with new characters and old, and I develop them further in the series. I hope you enjoy them too."

T J Green was born in England, but moved to New Zealand 10 years ago. She currently lives near Wellington with her partner and her cats Sacha and Leia.
She is the author of a series of books about a boy called Tom who is summoned to the Other to wake King Arthur. Tom's Inheritance was released March 2016, and the sequel, Twice Born is released February 2017. She is currently writing the third book in the series.
When not writing Tracey spends lots of time gardening, reading, practicing yoga, watching films and drinking red wine. And occasionally making short films just for fun.

Twice Born by TJ Green is the sequel to Tom's Inheritance. It's been a year since Tom has been to the Other, where he awakened his ancestor King Arthur and left behind his cousin, Beansprout. At the time he thought it was what he wanted, but he quickly regretted his decision. Despite how patient he is, he hasn't found a way back. That is until his cousin appears one night with their friend, Brenna, asking for his help. He readily agrees to help them in their search for the Priestess Nimue, the same one from the legends of Merlin. Tom and his friends must decide who to trust as their journey has them facing dragons, ancient gods, strange beasts, and uncertain allies.

A magical adventure perfect for lovers of myth! TJ Green brings strong attention to detail, with every scene containing beautiful scenery, and a quirky set of characters. It's humorous having a legendary figure such as Arthur seeing a book about himself for the first time, and trying to find a way to fit into this new world where a sorcerer actually has his old weapons on display. The friendship of the characters is at the heart, but the adventures drive the story forward. There are several moments that call one back to familiar legends, with the same fun and action, but with many surprises. Twice Born is geekily fantastic, bringing a fresh perspective with new characters, and a fun, modern twist on the Arthurian legends. Can't wait for the next adventure!
