The lessons in "What Every Man Wishes His Father Had Told Him" are found in Ephesians 4:13: "This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ." In this book, the author Byron Yawn writes in a pretty straightforward manner about what it means to be a man, and about how fathers can train their sons to be true men, as well as how sons can honor their fathers as a man should honor his dad. It teaches men how to be godly men and how to fulfill the male leadership in their homes, in the church and in his place of business.
Ever wondered what the Bible teaches about masculinity? Well, this is the book for you. Byron Yawn writes an awesome book to men, about men. Just be ready for some strong, firm, straight-forward advice from this godly man. But he writes to you in a kind, loving and humorous way, making this an easy, pretty, fast-pace book to read. What I especially like about this book is the way Mr. Yawn is so transparent about his own life, being willing to talk to every man reading this about his life from his younger days through to his adulthood as well as being a husband and father. The touching story he tells about his adoptive dad is heartwarming and precious. There is just so much here that you just need to read it for yourself.
I highly recommend this book to every man out there. You just can't go wrong with a copy of this well-written, well-needed book in today's world.
