What is Self Esteem? How to Build your Self Esteem and Feel Happy Now by Beth Burgess is an uplifting book that will show readers how to develop a healthier sense of self-esteem and self worth that many of us tend to lack. People often mistake self esteem for self confidence. The book tells the difference between the two and it is a perfect guide for those who are trying to overcome depression and addictions in life. The book has tips to start living life all over again by getting rid of negative thoughts and feelings. By the time readers finish the book, they will be able to know their inherent worth and this will help them through their low phases.

I found the book motivational and inspirational as it helps readers work on their low self esteem and come out of it with a lot more confidence and self love. The tips and advice are easy to understand and put into practice. The steps given can be incorporated into one's life easily and will be useful for counselors and therapists to use while working with their patients. The traits to practice all the time are helpful and are a constant reminder to improve one's life and self esteem.

It is a good book to add to one's personal collection as reading it in intervals helps one look at life and make changes in behavior patterns accordingly. The book helps in rediscovering ourselves, our core values and our self worth, especially at a time when one feels that they are not worthy at all.
