Get your adrenaline pumping with Don Helin's action-packed thriller Buried Relics. Zack Kelly was having lunch with his partner T.J. in the national security advisor's task force, when a Russian assassin named Sergey Artemis shot T.J. and left him in a critical condition. Determined to find the culprits and save his partner's life, Zack digs deep into the investigation alongside members of the FBI and other law enforcement agencies. He discovers links to New York mafia boss Sonny Angelo, who wants the opium resin he lost during the failed Operation River Dance in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Zack's other partner, Rene Garcia, and her father have been kidnapped and taken to Veracruz, Mexico, with Professor Jeremy Kelce. They are at a secret conference that might shed new light on forgotten ancient civilizations and alien artifacts. Can Zack save his friends?

Buried Relics takes you on a wild rollercoaster of a ride where you're never sure what's going to happen next. Featuring hostage rescue, conspiracy theories, and thrilling action sequences, this novel subverts expectations every step of the way. Don Helin weaves an intricate web of plot threads that seamlessly converge toward the end in a resounding climax. Using a fast-paced narrative with a large cast of characters, the author keeps the reader on their toes with a potent combination of suspense, sleuth mystery, and intrigue. As a reader, you find yourself rooting for Zack on his mission to ensure the safety of T.J. and his family. I was also very much enraptured by Professor Kelce's lecture. Overall, this is an absolute treat for fans of thrillers, and I can't recommend it highly enough.
