Have you ever felt like you were an outcast, as if you are so different from everyone else that they just would not understand you? The sense of belonging is a deep-rooted need, especially for women, but there are so many people out there that it seems impossible to find your place in this world.

Come as You are. . .and Find a Place to Belong: A Devotional Journal for Women by Lisa Troyer helps to remind you who you are in Christ and allows you to be yourself. This is a great book for all women in every stage of their walk with God. Whether you just got saved or you have been serving Him for decades, this book will help you find inspiration for your life. Each devotional in this book only takes about 5 minutes with a message from the author and scripture. They are really easy to understand and give room to think and apply the Word to your life. From the start, this book is very uplifting and affirming. The scriptures are in the Message and New International Version so they are not difficult to understand.

Come as You Are encourages readers to get into relationships with others and not just get to know God but also know others. This book is a good reminder that you don't have to be perfect and have it all together. Lisa Troyer emphasizes how important you are in this world and that there is nothing that can stop you from belonging when you are yourself in Christ.
