Boston, 1853: Sixteen-year-old Ethan Adams, is framed for the murder of Cynthia Bledsoe. He was arrested, tried, and found guilty. He declared his innocence even though he admitted it was his knife. Edward is determined his younger brother will not hang for a crime he did not commit. He planned to aid his brother in an escape. They fou.nd work in St. Joseph. Both changed their names and appearance. They soon settled in to their new life, but were looking over their shoulder for someone to recognize themSt. Joseph ,1850: Debora and Stephanie came to live with their Aunt Sarah and Uncle Foster after the death of their mother. The sisters soon thought of St. Joseph as their home. They loved their “new” brothers and a sister. Debora completed school and was hired at a bakery. It was at church where they first saw the two handsome brothers.

Edward and Ethan were awestruck at the beauty of the ladies. Their lives became intertwined. Love blossomed, but there was still a secret between them.

A serial killer is still on the loose and with each kill, he leaves evidence that points to Ethan.

Ethan’s Flight is a real cliffhanger. Unfair, unfair, I want to know more. I certainly hope there is a sequel soon! Victoria Trout and Penelope West have woven an excellent tale of the West, suspense, and romance. They have penned a story that is easy to read and understand. My favorite part of this story is that it is wholesome. I would not be upset with my children reading it. Too often authors feel the need to feel their stories with vulgar language and unseemly behavior. Ethan’s Flight does not need those things to sell. Fans of romance and suspense will love Ethan’s Flight.
