Face Of Danger by Roxanne St.Clair is book three in The Guardian Angelinos Series. A red carpet killer is stalking the Oscar Award winners, and the latest one was found dead in her home after attending a party given in her honor. A year earlier another award-winning actress was killed which was deemed accidental. Now clues have come about that show they may be connected, and a serial killer is on the loose. Private Investigator Vivi Angelino, trying to get her company out in the open and better known, is about to put herself into the limelight and a dangerous situation. Being a dead ringer for the next actress who stands a chance of winning the Oscar and who is on the killer's list, Vivi is going to take a chance and play her double, right down to the fake tattoo on her thigh. The only problem is, if she messes up, not only could she put her life in danger, but the consequences could ruin the family business; but Vivi is up for the challenge. Can she pull this off by fooling the public and especially Special Agent Colton Lang?

This is the first book I have read written by this author and even though it's the third book in the series, I don't feel I missed anything from the previous books and feel like this can be read as a standalone. With plenty of suspense and romance throughout this action-packed novel, along with the many different characters, including Stella the dog, I feel the reader is in for an interesting read and will keep guessing who the killer is. There is some occasional coarse language in the book and is mildly sensual in parts.
