Richard N. Shapiro has compiled a collection of Facebook posts and added his thoughts about them in his book "Faceplant: Chronicles of Facebook's True Tales & Epic Fails." Divided into thirty-three chapters, this book contains posts and threads that correspond with the posts. One chapter focuses on a picture that was posted of a tattoo that a girl got while on vacation. The tattoo is of her boyfriend who then later breaks up with her in the thread in the midst of comments from friends of both individuals. Another chapter is about a 'Twilight' obsession while another is about dog-fighting, so there is a wide variety of posts included in this collection. Each chapter ends with a "Faceplant Takeaway" which is Shapiro's thoughts and conclusions about the post and thread.

I found this humor book to be just that - humorous! I am a person who cannot believe some of the things that people share on Facebook for the entire world to see. While some I find sad, others are just entertaining. This book is an entertaining collection that will give anyone a break in a stressful day and bring forth a smile and a laugh. A person can pick up the book, read through a chapter quickly and be in a completely different mindset by the end of the chapter, in just a few minutes! Also, it is a great reminder to be careful about what you post! Shapiro's Takeaways are just about as entertaining as the original posts! A must-read for all Facebook users!
