Dr. Debra D. Givens
was born and raised in South Bend Indiana. In 1983 Debra accepted the call of God to minister under a prophetic, evangelistic and teaching mantle. She serves as assistant pastor to her husband Dr. Dennis Givens who is the founder of a thriving church New Horizons Outreach Ministry.
God has gifted Debra to carry out this mandate through the use of a highly effective psalmist anointing.
Debra is a Readers Favorite Award Winner.
She is co-owner of a decorating company D and D Decorating and Design.
Debra has spread the gospel via a local television network LeSEA Broadcasting and a national weekly broadcast on Dish Network, and a local weekly radio station WUBS 89.7 FM and other radio broadcasts across America.
God has birthed through Debra a women's affirmation and deliverance ministry which have freed hundreds of women both young and old.
Debra's leisure pursuit is decorating and design.
After completing several years of studies at South Western Michigan College and Indiana University at South Bend Debra has gone on to receive her doctorate of religious philosophy from Tabernacle Bible College and Seminary of Tampa Florida. She is Co-founder of New Horizons Bible College. She is also a graduate of Class 37 Leadership Chamber of Commerce of St. Joseph County. it is the sincere desire of Debra Givens to train individuals internationally to become mighty warriors through the word of God.
Dennis and Debra have been blessed with two beautiful daughters Cara and Kaylee Givens.

I was raised in the church. The Southern Baptist Church, to be more precise. My mother often spoke about God’s favor. She considered herself one of the Lord’s favored. I was always skeptical, but maybe if my mom had been as articulate as Dr. Debra D. Givens, I would have understood what she was talking about and become a more passionate believer. In Favor 7.0: Complete Favor, Dr. Givens lays out a short but very clear explanation of what the Bible means by the term God’s favor. She also tells us how to reach this exalted state. She is compelling and convincing. I could easily imagine this lesson coming from a pulpit on Sunday morning. Perhaps it did.
I liked Favor 7.0. It made me nostalgic. It made me homesick. It made me miss my mother. It features passages from the books in the Bible that I love the most. These are the poetic books, the philosophical books, the books that focus on beauty and truth more than doom and gloom. The Book of Psalms was so obviously written by a favored man. A king no less. The Book of Proverbs is full of wisdom for everyone to see, whether they are a believer or not. Dr. Givens has a knack of picking jewels from these masterful works and explaining them in a way that shows how you can utilize them in your life to understand the plan God has for you. Flavor 7.0 is well crafted. It is beautifully written. I’m guessing it is divinely inspired.
