Who doesn't love a man with tattoos, piercings, and a muscled body? Alabama doesn't. Or maybe she does. After a sad, horrific dating life, Alabama's friends convince her to put her trust in them. By all means, Miles, Arden, and Ivy are her best friends and know everything about her. Yet, when she ends up at a coffee date with an inked, muscled tattoo artist named Gavin, she's sure they've lost their minds. Lucky for her, there's far more behind the image he presents, and her friends may be right. Read Gradation by KC Decker to see what adventures await Alabama and Gavin.
Truthfully, I'm a sucker for a good romance book and a tattooed man. KC Decker came through on that front and with the other characters. The book stars a diverse group of friends linked together through strong affection and devotion. Love easily shines through, and their relationships show that your friends may know you better than yourself. Alabama and Gavin learn to let go of pride and initial assumptions, showing readers that it isn't as difficult as it may seem. Once the tension is gone, chemistry is at an all-time high. Though, if you're not one for sensual scenes and some sexy talk, you may want to look for a less descriptive book. However, if you're looking for steam, sparks, and romance, Gradation is a solid choice guaranteed to deliver. While it ended a bit quickly for my liking, I found myself taking only a day to finish the book. All in all, the author produced an excellent story.
