Going camping is marvelous as children can be in direct contact with nature and learn many new things, while adults can relax away from their daily routines. Because of city life, we sometimes forget about this, but it is always good to motivate children by creating new experiences away from technology. Let's Explore Goldstream Park takes us to this natural treasure in Vancouver. It is home to many animals and plants, has many marvelous things to see, and amazing activities. There is wonderful scenery, like a waterfall. There are picnic tables, perfect to enjoy a meal with family and friends. It has many paths to explore, animals to observe, and plants to discover. Jennifer Dowd presents us with a wonderful description of a beautiful environment.
Let's Explore Goldstream Park connects us to a more conscious lifestyle, which is why I liked this book. Jennifer Dowd has suggested a variety of outdoor activities. The camps bring people together and you end up with the feeling of having lived an authentic adventure. The impression of freedom is immense and this is something that children should experience. The best way to encourage them is through picture books like this so they get an idea of what they can find. It will teach children other forms of entertainment and how to observe new things. With a simple vocabulary, young readers will be motivated to get closer to nature and enjoy new experiences.
