The tongue in cheek humor of Alex's grandfather is a real joy to read. Damien Love paints a vivid description of the landscapes and characters throughout Like Clockwork, giving the reader the feeling of being present in the story. The accompanying artwork perfectly illustrates the tale. It is an engaging story that will capture the attention of even the most reluctant reader. Like Clockwork wraps everything up at its conclusion yet also leaves Damien Love in the position to write sequels if he so chooses.
