The Adventures of a FIFO Kid by Azélia Walter is an amusing and adventurous picture book for young children. Time away from loved ones can be hard, especially if they work a FIFO job. With this beautifully designed book, children and parents will feel comforted as they read the words from the child of a FIFO worker. There is enjoyment and adventure to be had, so what are you waiting for? Grab a copy and let the fun begin.
The Adventures of a FIFO Kid was a joy to read. I didn't know what working a FIFO job meant before reading this book, and I'm glad I now fully understand how hard it can be to leave a loved one behind, no matter how long it may take. I was impressed and surprised that this book had been created by such a young author, but Azélia Walter certainly has a talent for writing and her creativity flows throughout her book. Although this book is aimed at children, it could also be useful for parents, as it presents an opportunity to sit down with your child and talk about any concerns either of you may have, allowing your bond to strengthen even more.
If you work a FIFO job and are anxious about leaving your child, this book will be perfect for you. It will provide endless entertainment and will stimulate their imaginations in a way that will surely speed up the time you spend away. Congrats on the amazing book, Azélia, and I hope you continue to write!
