Colleen M. Bratley's The Easter Spirit Eggs follows the adventures of three little bunny siblings. Easter is here, and it's going to be Jacket's first egg hunt with his older siblings, Hoppity and Jumper. The three little bunnies must offer the Easter spirit with each egg they find. Jacket is excited to discover that he must find a way to spread the Easter spirit of Care. Soon, the three siblings set out on their tasks to spread the spirit of Easter. Jacket makes a new friend named Benji. Jumper helps Mrs. Lindahl plant her garden. Hoppity reaches out to her friend Sapphire and offers to read to a group of children with her. She also helps an eagle with a broken wing learn how to fly again.
This delightful picture book embodies the spirit of Easter and will bring joy, hope, and kindness to all readers, young and old alike. The Easter Spirit Eggs takes you on a fun little adventure with three adorable bunnies who learn some valuable life lessons along the way. It's a breezy read that leaves you with a smile on your face. Colleen M. Bratley has a knack for crafting engaging children's tales with key moral lessons in them. And this wonderful book continues that trend. Although the book is short, Bratley excels in making sure the distinct personalities of her three main characters leave a mark on the reader. Hoppity, Jumper, and Jacket are playful, jolly, and immensely likable. Children are definitely going to be inspired by their spirited determination to see their tasks all the way through. I was also captivated by the colorful illustrations. Overall, it's an immersive tale for kids.
