I am not a lawyer and I only have what I consider to be average or even a little below average computer skills and knowledge. I was prepared to accept the fact that The Social Media Blueprint for Lawyers by Anthony A. Marrone might not really be useful for me in my journey to master social media as an indie author. I am delighted to report that this was not the case and that anyone, especially those just starting out in their effort to harness social media for any kind of business, will find The Social Media Blueprint for Lawyers very useful and a great place to start in order to get an idea of what they need to do to master this new form of marketing. It is indeed a blueprint or maybe even a road map to understanding and eventually harnessing this very useful tool.

Wonderfully organized and written in clear, easy to understand English, The Social Media Blueprint for Lawyers might be better titled The Social Media Blueprint for Everyone. I found it easy to follow and implement the advice, and just about every tool or medium that I am going to need at this stage of my journey was covered. There are detailed chapters on LinkedIn, Snapchat, Instagram, blogging, your website, and of course the most powerful tool of them all in my opinion, Facebook. I cannot stress enough how useful The Social Media Blueprint for Lawyers is. I thank Anthony A. Marrone for seeing the need, and being considerate enough to write this book and put it out there for everyone.

The Social Media Marketing Blueprint for Lawyers by Anthony Marrone is a simple, hands-on, how-to book on managing social media in today’s world. The Social Media Marketing Blueprint for Lawyers begins with Anthony’s own journey in college when Facebook and, indeed, the entire concept of social media was brand new. As it has grown exponentially in the last few decades and is a crucial part of today’s professional world if one wants to remain in the know-how, this book is indeed a useful tool. The various social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc. each have a chapter dedicated to them, along with tips and tools on how to best make use of them. There are also various chapters on how to manage social media intelligently such that an engaging and professional manner is maintained while being aware of the legal implications of the language we put out there.

The Social Media Marketing Blueprint for Lawyers by Anthony Marrone is a great and handy book for anyone looking to master social media. The writing is pleasant and engaging and I like the fact that there are various illustrations and screenshots throughout the book that demonstrate exactly how to use the various media types and tools. There is also a detailed plan, and a compliance and regulations chapter that points out any potential mistakes in using these platforms to avoid liability. I appreciated the nitty-gritty of the legal aspects of social media and what to be aware of as we use it. All in all, professionals in any field will find this an extremely easy, fun, and useful read.

The Social Media Marketing Blueprint for Lawyers by Anthony Marrone is a helpful guide to all those who want to know how to implement successful social media marketing strategies. The book provides readers with enough tools on how each social media platform works, and will give readers an idea on how to use them to increase their exposure, revenue, and attract new clients.

Each chapter looks at how law firms and lawyers can position themselves on social media platforms with examples which are a good guide to all lawyers and law firms out there. The book also addresses how to create a successful social media marketing plan. The author's experiences are also helpful to readers on how to have the right approach to push the number of followers. The exact suggestions and ideas are good for readers to learn how to interact with followers and fans in a manner that is mutually beneficial.

The author has handled the topic extensively by giving readers good suggestions, tips, ideas, and techniques that can be applied and incorporated into their working style to enhance the attorney-client relationship. The book, on the whole, covers topics that are helpful to law firms and solo practitioners, and reduces the fear of stepping into social media.

Social media and technology are not just for millennials but for everyone, especially if you are a lawyer. The Social Media Marketing Blueprint for Lawyers by Anthony A. Marrone provides you with all of the steps necessary to help you to grow your business. Even though The Social Media Marketing Blueprint for Lawyers is for helping attorneys get an edge and locate potential clients, anyone can benefit from the material contained in this book. Marrone does an excellent job at not only introducing the various social media platforms - from LinkedIn and Snapchat to Instagram - but he also shows you how to create a message and profile to help strengthen your online presence. A few more must-haves is to build your brand identity using some basic design tools like Canva, and hire a graphic designer to create your website and other professional collateral pieces.

As I read The Social Media Marketing Blueprint for Lawyers, it appears that Marrone thought of everything possible to help his lawyer colleagues to connect with their potential clients. As Marrone points out, plugging into an online legal directory not only creates a connection but cross-promotion for referrals, as well as services. To help you to stay focused, Marrone provides you with a recap after each chapter. To maintain your clientele and to continue bringing in new clients, you have to be creative. In lawyer fashion, The Social Media Marketing Blueprint for Lawyers would not be complete without providing the rules on ethical compliance as it applies to everything discussed in the book, from client relationships and social media to your brand identity.

The Social Media Marketing Blueprint for Lawyers by Anthony Marrone is a fairly straightforward guidebook about how to join and participate in various forms of social media. It begins where most similar guidebooks begin, with Facebook. There is an interesting little discussion about how it used to be 'theFacebook' and how young people don't really understand what that means, but in general the topic immediately turns to how to sign up and get the most out of using the system. It turns from here to cover things like Twitter, Snapchat (not just for teens!), and other social media platforms that an enterprising lawyer might find themselves engaged in for interacting with people in this digital age.

The book itself is fairly simple, but it actually manages to convey the gist of these platforms without a lot of issues. For example, there is an emphasis on using the platforms to tell a real story to people rather than simply marketing or trying to increase subscribers. Reaching real people is very valuable, and this book does a good job of bringing people in at a beginners' level and starting them on the road of working with social media. It ends up going deeper into topics further into the book, discussing how to set goals and build a plan for creating a social media presence, and it turns this into a long-term venture more than something to set and forget. The Social Media Marketing Blueprint for Lawyers by Anthony Marrone has created a really good guide with this entry, and I can see people getting a lot of good out of it if they are new to social media. Great book!
