Two Lives is a romance mystery novel by Freya Zalvidar. Natasha Lewis is an artist living a humdrum life with her husband, Joshua, and their two children, Samuel and Emily. However, when a family camping trip results in a terrible accident, Natasha's life turns upside down. She wakes up from a coma in the hospital, physically and mentally shattered. Slowly, with the help of her physical therapist, Trevor, Natasha begins an arduous journey of recovery. As she retains her memory bit by bit, Natasha is haunted by the absence of her family. She develops a close friendship with Trevor that soon blossoms into love. But things may not be as they seem, and after a while, Natasha is forced to face a shocking truth.
Two Lives is a love story that showcases the depths to which our minds can bend reality to shield us from traumatic events. Freya Zaldivar tells a tragic tale of a young woman's struggles to recover from an accident that left her in a debilitated state and her search for love she thought she had lost forever. Zaldivar keeps an even pace with the narrative as the plot twists and turns to a resounding climax, leaving you in equal parts shocked and awed. Natasha's story is heartbreaking, and with the entire narrative told through her POV, you get access to her feelings and thoughts firsthand. It makes you sympathize with her plight. Two Lives is right up your alley if you love reading tragic romance stories.
