Street Crimes: Tales of Mystery by H.L. LeRoy is a collection of four short stories that will make you smile, make you uncomfortable, and at times scare the daylights out of you. Mistake-proof is about a petty criminal, Howard Dellicott, who has run up a debt with the mob. In order to pay it off, he helps a friend rob a bank. Unfortunately, Howard simply doesn’t have what it takes for the higher level of criminal activity. In Rare Justice, Jillian Varela, P.I., takes on the cold case of a murdered child. She does it for free out of sympathy for a dying client. Jillian hopes that fate would not take her client to her destiny before the mystery is solved. Hollywood Hitman will take you on a tour of what Hollywood’s elite use as a more permanent solution to problems in their marriages and the man who performs that service for them. Finally, in The Game’s End, you’ll revisit Jillian Varela who is in a race against the clock to keep a naïve heiress who was arrested for murder out of prison. All four will keep you entertained and on the edge of your seat.
