In his book “Finding Real Purpose,” author Kenneth Nkemnacho gives readers a deep insight into how to find the real purpose of our lives as it should be. God created each one of us with a special purpose, so the only way to find your purpose is from God’s Word itself, the Bible. This book is full of scripture passages that explain everything the author talks about here. A few things discussed in this book are: what is purpose, the meaning and foundation of purpose, the characteristics of purpose, how to discover your purpose, and walking in divine purpose. In the first chapter, 'The Meaning of Purpose,' the author quotes the following scripture: Ephesians 1: 11-12: “In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory." From the beginning God chose us to have hope in Him, through His son Jesus Christ. Our purpose in life is through God alone, trusting Him and what He wants for us.
Since this book is written with a an in-depth examination of how you can find real purpose in your life, I think it would work better for a Bible study such as a Sunday school class or a small group study instead of for mere reading of for individual study. My reason for saying so is that group studies give you the opportunity for discussions and for asking questions. If you are searching for the reason why you exist, then this would be a really good book for your to pick up. Get it with friends or a group and start a study on this important topic.
