Learning the alphabet is the first step for children to be able to read and write. If they see this as fun, they will approach books and reading enthusiastically. Shandra Nalia shares a fun adventure story for kids to learn letter recognition. The Adventures of The Letters: A Picture Story Book with Activities for Kids Aged 6-12 has all kinds of activities to develop the learning process. The story begins with the alphabet father and the sound mother living contentedly with their many children - the letters. The letters are portrayed as brothers and sisters who are separated, and they have to find a way to meet again. A and B were the first to join, and little by little, they will meet the rest of the letters. The path is not easy and they will require a journey through many different places and will experience many adventures along the way.
I liked The Adventures of The Letters because it has varied landscapes and diverse activities. It follows an interactive pattern because there is a different puzzle to solve on each page, such as an alphabet soup, a maze, hidden figures, or a crossword puzzle. This makes it much easier to hold the attention of young readers. The story is entertaining and takes its time to introduce the letters as well as give examples of words. I also liked the fact that it included a few pages at the end for children to learn the correct style of uppercase and lowercase letters. Shandra Nalia's book is for children to learn and have fun with activities that stimulate the mind.
