The Intermittent Fasting: How To Live Fit, Lose Weight Fast And Stay Young by Olivia A. Stone begins by explaining how lifestyle changes are often complicated unless broken down into little chunks and that we need to make the time. Stone calls this a list and an action plan, explaining that if one falls off the wagon to get right back on. This is not a diet, but times when one eats and does not eat. There are various ways, but the book focuses on the twenty-four (24) hour plan, which has many benefits. However, eighteen (18) hours may be done or even twelve (12) hours may be done. The basic definition is that there are strategic periods of fasting for your body to burn fat as a fuel source. When one does consume food, there are no food restrictions! Consult a physician first. This book mentions all of the reasons why. Stone lists exercises to do and states that they may be found on YouTube, ending with charts to note progress. So, if you are already in good health, pick a good period of fasting, exercise, do attempt to consume healthy food when it is time to consume, chart your progress and absolutely take before and after photos naked!

Personally, I enjoyed The Intermittent Fasting. A man is quoted in the book saying that he suggests having dinner at six (6) pm, skipping breakfast the next day and then have lunch. I think this is the best way to do the diet. Keeping a log of everything from the beginning, especially before and after photos, helps to keep those baby steps in motion. After the first week, keep checking your progress, for these baby steps. Yes, as the book states, there are no restrictions as to what to eat when you do consume food, just do not binge eat with tons of junk food, taking the anxiety away from selecting foods. While fasting, your calories are reduced and your body takes the fat and uses the fat as fuel...thus the Intermittent Fasting. With a few exceptions, such as diabetes, pregnancy, etc., anyone can do this diet. Exercise is recommended while doing this diet. I think if you have the will power and determination, you can do it. So, yes, I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to diet and see results. Subtitled Inspiring Beginner’s Guide with Mоtivаtiоn Liѕts, Aсtiоn Plаnѕ, Prоgrеѕѕ Chart аnd Wеight Lоѕѕ Trасkеr, this is not your typical diet, making it enticing to the person wanting something new, with one step forward day by day.
