AndroBiotica 2: Journey In Time is a work of fiction penned by author David Gittlin in the science fiction, adventure, and interpersonal drama genres. In this thrilling sequel, Special Investigator Derrick Faulk, recently unemployed, is called by his friend Adrien Mattias, a developer of nearly human androids, for a crucial mission. The future of their world is at stake, and time is critical. Alongside Derrick is Kristina Flemming, AndroBiotica's Director of Research. As romantic sparks fly and danger looms, the duo embarks on a thrilling journey into the future. This sequel to The Androbiotica File: Nearly Human can also be enjoyed as a standalone novel.
Author David Gittlin has crafted a perfect balance of excitement and intrigue with plenty of intriguing sci-fi concepts and engaging personal drama. Derrick Faulk's transition from losing his job to undertaking a mission of immense importance is a great opportunity to show the range and dynamism of the character, and Gittlin wastes no time in getting us right into the action and putting Derrick to the test. The dynamic between Derrick and Kristina was a delight, offering a compelling and multidimensional development with brilliant dialogue and some heartfelt moments. Gittlin's ability to blend action, romance, and speculative science fiction into a cohesive narrative was impressive. The futuristic elements and moral questions surrounding androids were thought-provoking, offering a great mix of contemplative moments of discovery and sudden, action-packed mood shifts. As the plot twisted and turned, the story remained engaging and unpredictable with such vivid descriptions of people and action, making it difficult to put the book down as you always wondered where it was going next. Overall, I would certainly recommend AndroBiotica 2: Journey In Time to fans of the existing series, and the series in general to science fiction fans everywhere.
